COVID-19 - What We're Doing

The safety of our patients and staff is at the forefront of everything we do. As we work to increase face-to-face services in our facilities, we continue our effort to protect patients, staff and the community from the spread of COVID-19 by implementing a wide variety of preventive measures. Some of the measures which effect patients include:

Entrances

  • The VA entrance is closed indefinitely.
  • The front door to the facility is open between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • The emergency room entrance remains open 24/7.

Screening Questions

Patients may experience a delay in entering the facility as staff are positioned at each entrance to screen those entering the building. A select set of questions regarding possible symptoms, restriction of movement and travel will be asked. We ask that you are honest with your responses and that you maintain a six-foot distance from those around you while waiting in line.

Face Coverings

Everyone over the age of two entering one of our facilities is required to wear a face covering at all times. Anyone not at risk of life, limb or eyesight, who chooses not to adhere to this policy, will be escorted out of the facility by a member of our Protection Division.

Visitor Policy

In order to cut down on the amount of people in our facilities, we have implemented a strict visitor policy.
