Optometry
The Eye Clinic at JBER Soldier Centered Medical Home’s (SCMH) goal has been to deliver excellence in eye care for patients by combining medical expertise and advanced technology with a commitment to personal attention and customer service. Basic care includes a thorough assessment of visual systems. If further testing or treatment is needed, we provide referrals to off post clinics and the 673rd Ophthalmology Clinic located in the Elmendorf side of JBER. Mission
The JBER SCMH Optometry Service primary mission is to support the training programs conducted on post and Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) with Ready Reliable Healthcare Anytime, Anywhere, Always!

The Optometry Service provides comprehensive ocular and vision care through examination, diagnosis, and treatment and supports the installation Vision Readiness and Vision Conservation programs.
Soldier Centered Medical Home (SCMH) Optometry
Located at 786 D St, across from Buckner Gym. This Clinic primarily serves the 2-11 ABN DIV, Alaska Reserve Component and Alaskan National Guard but is open to all branches of the military in Alaska.
