Q: How long does it take to get a copy of ALL my medical records?
A: You will receive your medical information or a copy of your record within 30 working days after submission of the request. (AR 40-66 para. 2-3)
Q: Can I hand carry my medical records?
A: Hand carrying medical records is not permitted. MTFs can no longer push records to your next MTF based on PCS orders. Gaining MTFs will request the records from us once you have completed TRICARE enrollment at your new duty location. (AR 40-66 para. 2-3)
