FAQs:

Q: Can I walk-in and use VTC services

A: No, all individuals must be evaluated in person initially. The provider will then discuss treatment options and if VTC care is potentially right for you.

Q: Where are the screens for VTC located, can I do this from home?

A: We have multiple VTC suites located at our main clinic, building 4066. Most care via VTC occurs in our building here at Fort Wainwright, however talk with your provider for the      option of having VTC sessions in your home. The VTC connects to providers located at other military treatment centers in the United States. 

Q: Is this program open to dependents or children?

A: No

Q: Is VTC therapy as effective as face to face therapy?

A: It depends on the individual. Some find that VTC therapy can be just as effective as face-to-face encounters. Others do not like this type of interaction and find it much less effective.
