- Nutrition Counseling in accordance with AR 600-9
- ***NOTE*** All 1/11 soldiers must be seen by H2F
How to complete ABCP Nutrition Assessment:
Option 1: Soldiers assigned to 1/11 may choose to participate in a group class taught by the H2F registered dietitian. Classes are held the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 3 p.m. in Hangar 1., first floor classroom.
Option 2: Schedule a one-one counseling session with a registered dietitian. 1/11 soldiers must contact the H2F registered dietitian. All other soldiers can schedule by calling 907-361-4000.

Q: I am an Active Duty Soldier enrolled in the Army Body Composition Program. I have been to the Army Wellness Center for classes; does this satisfy the requirement of the nutrition part in Army Regulation 600-9?
A: No. You must see a credentialed dietitian to satisfy the requirement of Army Regulation 600-9. It is encouraged to use the Army Wellness Center in meeting your healthy weight loss goal(s).
Q: Do I need to bring anything to the ABCP class?
A: No, unless you have been directed by your company commander otherwise. We will provide you with a signed memo at the end of the class verifying your attendance and completion of the class.
