Q: How can I get in contact with my provider for questions?
A: There are three main ways to contact your provider:
  1. You can call the appointment line 907-361-4000
  2. Use the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal to send a secure message your provider.
  3. Fill out a “How May We Help You” form at the family practice reception desk.
Q: Do I need an appointment to have paperwork for a physical filled out?
A: Please call or use the Patient Portal to determine the need for an appointment to have school or sport physical paperwork filled out. If an appointment is not necessary, the paperwork must be brought to the clinic or sent through the Patient Portal.  The clinic will notify you when the forms are ready, usually within 3 business days. 
Q: At what ages should my child have a well-child checkup?
A: Your child should have a well-child visits at: 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 24 months and then yearly after 2 years old. Yes, we love to see your children when they are healthy too!
Q: My child needs shot records for school. Where do I get these records?
A:  You do not need an appointment to receive updated records. You may fill out a “How May We Help You” form at the reception desk. The clinic will notify you when the forms are ready, usually within 2 to 3 business days.
Q: My child received a referral to, or already sees one of the visiting pediatric specialists. When will their next appointment be?
A: Each of the pediatric subspecialists come at different times throughout the year. We usually receive the exact dates about 2 months in advance and schedule patients about 2 weeks in advance.
