Inclement Weather Plan
Snow and freezing temperatures are normal for interior Alaska a good portion of the year. Winter weather conditions do not normally keep us from opening our doors. However, there are
times when we cancel appointments for the safety of our patients and staff. During times of inclement weather we suggest you monitor our
Facebook page for any closures or delays.
We also ask our beneficiaries to call us and cancel your appointment if you are not going to make it in. This allows us to release staff members so they too can make it home safely.
During inclement weather, our emergency department, labor and delivery and inpatient services will remain open. Patients with appointments impacted by a closure or delay will be rescheduled by their clinic.
