How to make an appointment:
No referral is required to be seen in our clinic, If you have a referral but have not heard from us within 72 hours, need to make a follow-up appointment or would like to self-refer, please call us at 907-361-4000.

Q: Where do I go to check in for my nutrition appointment?
A: Check in at the front desk of the Specialty Clinic within Bassett ACH.
Q: Do I need to bring anything to my nutrition appointment?
A: Yes. Please bring a three-day food diary with you. A three-day food diary should include at least two week days and one weekend day of what you typically eat and drink. Bring a notepad to take notes. In addition, please annotate any nutritional supplements you are taking.
Q: Can the dietitian prescribe me weight loss medications?
A: No
Q: I am an Active Duty Soldier enrolled in the Army Body Composition Program. I have been to the Army Wellness Center for classes; does this satisfy the requirement of the nutrition part in Army Regulation 600-9?
A: No. You must see a credentialed dietitian to satisfy the requirement of Army Regulation 600-9. It is encouraged to use the Army Wellness Center in meeting your healthy weight loss goal(s).
Q: How long is my appointment?
A: First time appointments are scheduled for 60 minutes and follow-ups are scheduled for 30 minutes.
